The Hardware: Coil & Rotary Excellence

This setup includes four professional-grade machines designed to stay in your arsenal long after your apprenticeship is over.

Traditional Coil Machines:

  • .44 Magnum Liner: Features 8-wrap compact coils on a semi-cutback frame. Designed for crisp, snappy lining and solid color packing.

  • .44 Winchester Shader: Features 8-wrap coils with wide-angled springs. Engineered for smooth, efficient shading and soft color transitions.

Linear Action Rotaries:

  • The Witch (Liner/Packer): Powered by a 4.5W JEX0 motor (10,000 RPM) with a 3.5mm stroke. Includes a built-in needle clamp and dampening spring to eliminate the need for rubber bands.

  • The Weaver (Shader): Utilizes the same high-torque motor with a 3.0mm stroke, optimized for buttery-smooth blends and large magnum work.

The Nerve Center: Hildbrandt Velocity Power Supply

The Velocity is a high-performance unit for artists who want premium features without the “luxury” price tag.

  • Dual Independent Outputs: Toggle between your liner and shader at the press of a button—no more cable swapping.

  • High Performance: A 4-amp jump-start current handles even the hungriest rotary motors, while a 3-amp continuous current ensures rock-solid reliability.

  • Precision Control: Adjust settings in 0.1V increments (3–12V range) with a clear display showing Volts, Amps, and Speed (Hz).

  • Smart Features: Includes three pedal modes (Traditional, Continuous, and Automatic), short-circuit protection, and non-volatile memory that saves your settings even after power-off.

WARNING: This kit contains items that can be used to tattoo human skin.  This setup is designed for people to learn how to tattoo by practising on mediums like practice skin, pigs skin and thick skinned fruits.  Human skin is NOT a practising medium and tattoos are PERMANENT, so if you do not have any experience or qualifications to do skin work, DO NOT use the items in this kit to perform a tattoo.  If you are serious about becoming a professional tattoo artist, a proper apprenticeship with a professional tattoo studio is the time honoured way of becoming one.  This kit will not make you a professional tattoo artist overnight but it will give you the tools you need to learn and practice to become one.
