Description
The Hildbrandt .357 Magnum tattoo machine is built to be a fast liner or color packer. First went into production in 2005, it was our original signature model. Largely stayed the same over the years with the exception of a few changes to the binding posts, contact screw and coil cores. The compact design with short angled springs and 8 wrap coils make the .357 Magnum a speed demon. Weighs in at 230 grams/8 ounces, it is a light weight and well balanced design. Small size, 3.5″ x 3.5″. Our shop sets it up as a liner by default. 8 wrap coils, 32.5mm height, 22uf capacitor, 63WV. Product code 2BB.

I was skeptical ordering the 357 magnum liner for fifty bucks. But I heard from multiple people that its a good tattoo machine. So it came in the mail and only took three days to get here. i tuned it and made some small adjustments and got to use it, and its a solid built, smooth running, fast lining machine and I’m very happy with it. I will definitely be a return customer!

I want the specs for this machine before i make any purchases.
newton –
20 gauge springs, 8 wrap, 47uf capacitor, liner springs, 3.5oz weight.
Jason –
thank you and can i also get specs for the coils?

Why would I choose the 357 over the 444? Getting ready to buy one. Just learning the industry.
newton –
The .357 is an 8 wrap liner whilst the .444 Marlin is a 10 wrap shader. They are designed for different jobs.
shawn –
Sorry. I was referring to the .44 liner. Why would I choose the .357 over the .44 liner. Tx

Is there a satisfaction guarantee? And how would you compare your Hildbrandt machines compared to lets say Union Irons ( Same, Not as Good, Better ) ?
newton –
Hildbrandt machines are very reliable, run smooth and do excellent work at a fair price. You can check out some of the great tattoo’s done by artists using Hildbrandt machines here https://www.tattoomachineequipment.com/hildbrandt-tattoo-artists-gallery As for how they compare to Union, that is not exactly comparing apples to apples. The Union is a casted machine, hand welded, finished and requires a lot more time to build, hence the reason they sell for $350 to $450 on our site as opposed to our Hildbrandt’s which sell for $49. For the money, Hildbrandt is the best value and can hold its own against many machines more expensive than it. On the other hand, Union is an amazing machine.

Where are these machines and their parts made?
newton –
Hildbrandt machines are designed and assembled in Canada. The parts that make the machine are from Canada and China.
